How to Spend a Date Night Weekend in Nashville, Tennessee

Whether you’ve been to Nashville before or not, you will want to add this itinerary to your list! There is NO shortage of things to do in Nasvhille, and sometimes it can feel overwhelming to plan a trip there. There are just SO many options of things to do and places to stay and eat. So today I wanted to share my favorites for a fun little weekend in Nashville. These are all great date night ideas! Check them out below.

Where to Stay:

Fairlane Hotel – We have stayed here the last few times we have been to Nashville over the last couple of years, and it has become our new favorite hotel in the area. It’s in such a great location. The food is good. The coffee is good. The staff is always friendly. And the rooms are so spacious and nice! There is plenty of room, and the beds are comfy, and the bathrooms are spacious too. Highly recommend checking out this great hotel next time you’re in Nashville! They just opened a new restaurant last month in hotel, and their rooftop turns into quite a fun little popup at the holidays.

Where to Eat:

Modern Love – This new dining concept at Fairlane Hotel just opened last month when we were in town. It was their soft opening, and it was the perfect time to try it out. I love how they converted the lobby area to the dining area. It’s super casual with retro vibes. All the menu items are small tapa style food items, and they were so good. I got scallops, and yum, they were amazing!

The Optimist – This is always our favorite spot in Nashville for seafood. Every single thing we have gotten was amazing, and we love the oysters! We eat here most every time we are in town and have always been very expressed.

The Twelve Thirty Club – One of our favorite restaurants and bars in the area. It’s on Broadway, and they often have live music. Upstairs they also have a great rooftop.

What to Do:

See a concert at Bridgestone Arena – We have seen several concerts here from Jason Aldean to Chris Stapleton, and they are always a blast! We love the venue. There is plenty of room, and it’s in a great location from so many fun bars and restaurants. It’s also walking distance from our hotel. There is no shortage of concerts to go to in Nashville!

Buy tickets to a show at the Bluebird Cafe – This is another fun experience that you won’t want to miss out on. The tickets aren’t very expensive, and it is such an intimate place for a show. So many music greats got their start right here! It’s a Nashville classic that still has all its charm that makes it so special.

Get tickets at the Grand Ole Opry – We have been twice now, and seriously every time we go to Nashville, I check out the Opry calendar. This was one of the coolest experiences. All of the musicians were incredible, and it was such a fun and unique experience. We even got to take a backstage tour. Highly recommend! It is worth every penny. It is such a unique and intimate venue to watch several different musicians in one night. A Nashville tradition.

Go see a Predators game – This has been on our list for a while, and we are looking to going this fall! Would make for such a fun and unique date night!

Go wine tasting at Arrington Vineyards – One of our favorites! The wine there is great, and the entire place is such an experience. They have several different buildings to wine taste in or picnic tables outdoors. They have several food options there. There is live music on weekends, and Food truck Fridays. We always try to add this to our list when we are in the Nashville area.

Take a dinner cruise on General Jackson Showboat – I did this a few years back, and it blew me away! It was even better than I had imagined. The performances on board were amazing! And the food was good too. It was such a unique experience. Highly recommend.

Are you planning a trip to Nashville soon? What are your top places to visit for a fun date night?
