Double the Giveaways!

I’m so happy it’s the weekend!!  I’m going out to dinner tonight at Sweet Grass in Midtown and have never been there, so I’m excited.  I’ll have to give you a review next week.  I have a few different pieces of exciting news.  First of all, I have a new domain name, but don’t worry my old one will still reroute you to the right place.  The second exciting news is that the winner of the Ann Taylor Bow Necklace is…………

I also wanted to let you know that the winner of last week’s giveaway for the Anthropologie earrings is a blogger as well.  She has such an adorable family.  You can check out her blog and her bling here.  = )  I also just have a share a funny story about my first experience at Anthropologie. My sister and I were in LA almost 6 years ago and were doing a lot of shopping. My mom went to a different store to look around while my sister and I were shopping in a new store we’d never been in. When she finished up she called us to meet up with us at the store we were at. She asked what store we were at, and my sister and I just looked at each other. We then looked around everywhere but had no clue and couldn’t find a store name. We looked around at some of the brand names on the clothing. Nope, we still had no idea. We ended up having to walk outside and look at the name on the front of the building to find out that it was Anthropologie. Then we went back in and continued shopping. : )  We had never even hear of Anthropologie…oops. 

Speaking of giving more and exciting news, I know I said that I would try to do one giveaway per month, but that’s just not enough, so….I will be doing another giveaway this week.  It starts tonight and goes through next Saturday, January 12 at 6:00pm CST.  I didn’t want to leave any of my readers out and limit it to only Memphis, so it is 2 giveaways in 1!!  I am giving away a gift certificate to Nail Bar on the Island in Downtown Memphis.  If you’ve never been to the Nail Bar, you will just love it!  It is good for a manicure and never expires.  You can enter for this if you’re in the Memphis area.  The second items is a bottle of my new favorite nail polish.  It is the color Halo by Orly.  I have always been a diehard OPI fan, but this color by Orly is just gorgeous!!  I got a mani and pedi today with this beautiful shimmery color.  You can enter for this one if you’re outside of the Memphis area.  

When I originally started blogging just barely over a month ago, I planned to only post once a week and to mainly just make outfit posts.  I didn’t think I would write much, if any at all.  I don’t think I’ve ever been very good at writing.  Just ask my high school English teacher.  Now grammar, that I love, but the content part, that is what gets me.  My husband even tells me I ramble too much, and he’s probably right.  Good thing I love him.  = )  I’ve caught myself writing more and more about my day to day life and other things besides just fashion, such as fitness and even some recipes.  I’ve been posting once every day or two, though I know that will slow down a little when school starts back next week.  I appreciate every single one of my readers and really just want to make yall happy, so to enter the contest for the giveaway, all you need to do is make sure you’re following me via Google Friend Connect (the blue button on the right that says “Join My Site”), fill out my online survey form at the bottom to give me your input on my blog, then make sure you leave me a comment on here telling me whether you are entering for the gift certificate or the nail polish.  If you’re in the Memphis area, you can enter for the gift certificate, and for my friends outside of Memphis, you can enter for the nail polish.  I will randomly choose 2 winners.  I hope you all have a great weekend!!
