Madewell Insider Event + Glamour Me Jewels Bracelet Giveaway!

Woohoo, almost to Friday. I could really get used to these 4 day work weeks for sure! This past week, my friend Colleen and the management at the new Madewell in Memphis, TN invited me to host an Insider Party. To say I was thrilled is an understatement! I got to invite a small group of girls to come, eat Muddy’s cupcakes and cookies, and SHOP! My first time to try Muddy’s also might I add, and they did not disappoint! We tried on the new line that just hit stores last week. We had so much fun! Most of the girls who came were bloggers, but I also invited a few close friends and my sister. Yes, she’s the one in the picture with long hair like me. = ) I absolutely love Madewell. I would say my three favorite stores are probably J. Crew, Madewell and Anthropologie. And in my opinion, Madewell is a combination of J. Crew and Anthropologie which makes it perfect for me! They have plenty of girly items, but also more laid back casual pieces too. You can really find a little bit of everything there! Have you ever shopped at Madewell? What are you favorite Madewell pieces?

Here’s what I bought! I wear mix and match bikinis, so I already have a solid black top and a solid white top I can wear with these. I love the skirt because it’s long enough to wear to work, but I can wear it high waisted too. = ) And it’s made of a great scuba like stretchy material. I also received the jeans you see me wearing. I like that they are higher waisted and the dark wash is perfect! I couldn’t believe how lightweight and slimming they were. Very soft and comfortable too. There were SO many cute things I wanted to buy, but I usually try to buy things that I know I’ll get the most wear out of, and all three of these will be worn quite a bit. ; )
