Today I just felt like wearing a comfortable dress that I thought could still looked dressed up. I think it has the appearance that I spent time getting ready, but let’s be honest I just threw this dress on and was out the door. I think next time I will probably wear it belted though to give it a little more shape. I love the delicate lace sleeves of the dress with the delicate feather cuff though. This was a perfect look for over the weekend.
In other news, we have been on a house decorating frenzy. We have lived downtown almost 2 years now, and when we moved I had just started my first semester of grad school so I was crazy busy, and some things just got pushed to the bottom of the to do list. I feel like we are finally starting to get some of our house projects done, but have you noticed that when you finish one thing your list just gets longer?? And now that we have a little girl on the way, the list for her bedroom projects are growing longer than most everything else. All I need is that dang money tree I’ve been waiting on for so long. We are wanting to get a window seat installed in her room, a stepping stool built, and that is not even counting all our outdoor projects. I’ve decided I need someone who builds. Any volunteers?? = )
Love that dress! So pretty on you!

That is the brilliant thing about a dress – it is the most easy piece but looks like you put forth the most effort!

Gorgeous dress.
When you own a home, the to-do list sure is never ending, and one project usually leads to 3 more. 🙂
