Day to Night Series – Mint Heels

Thanks for stopping by for the Day to Night Series! Every two weeks I will pick a different item to style with a different blogger. One person will style it more casually for day, and the other will dress it up for night. This week the item is a pair of mint heels. Let’s face it, I’m 5.5 months pregnant, and heels are about one of the easiest things to style right now!  = )  Heather from Port City Prescription styled her heels more casually for day by pairing them with a romper and blazer.  She looks great and really makes me miss rompers!  This look could easily transition from day to night.  Make sure you check out Heather’s blog to see her outfit details.  I wore my heels for night by pairing them with my new Anthropologie shirtdress and my denim jacket.  I love the combo of red and mint together.  I actually loved this dress so much that I bought it twice.  I bought it 2 years ago from Anthro, and when I was in there a few weeks ago, I bought it in the red this time in a larger size so I could wear it while pregnant.  It is the perfect dress for work, date night, church, and the list goes on and on.

In other news, Leighton is kicking like crazy!!  (If you missed her name announcement, you can find that here.)  All day and all night; I’m thinking she must never sleep.  Shane even got to feel her a couple days ago.  It literally just came out of nowhere.  I couldn’t feel her, and now I do everyday.  Wow, things just got real.  It’s crazy.  = )  Hope y’all have a great Wednesday!  2 more days until Six Flags, woohoo!
