Between the Sheets

Good morning!  Since I moved a couple of months ago, I have been working on decorating (and redecorating) each room.  Today I wanted to share the progress of mine and Shane’s master bedroom.  Though I haven’t been getting much sleep lately at 8 months pregnant, at least I have pretty bedding to try to sleep in.  = )  I recently received this gorgeous duvet cover and king sized shams from Crane & Canopy, and I couldn’t be happier.  Crane & Canopy is a San Francisco based online site that sales luxurious and modern bedding.  Trust me, you will love the beautiful patterns and colors available.  What I love best about the company is that a portion of all proceeds of bedding sales go to victims of domestic violence.  Not only are they are great company with great products, but they are a company that cares about its customers and also the community.

The bedding I received is 300 thread-count, and is so soft and rich.  I already had lots of green in the room, but I had wanted to add another accent color in the room, and I think this cheery, bright yellow is just perfect.  I never shy away from bright colors, and I think it really brightens up the room and the dark espresso brown and leather bed!  I already had the green pillows and the white and yellow vases, so I think adding this fun and classic print to the room really helps to tie it all together.  I still have a few more finishing touches to add to the room, but as far as the bed and bedding go, it is completely finished.  Make sure you check out my last 3 home tour posts here, here and here.
