Thank you so much for stopping by the Trend Spin Linkup today! Today’s theme is sparkle and shine for New Year’s Eve. Once again, I tried to do something a little out of the ordinary. I’ve noticed since I’ve had a baby I am all about being comfortable. That’s not to say I don’t like to dress up because I do, but being comfortable while being dressed up is so much more important to me now. I like this look because I still feel dressed up, but I didn’t have to sacrifice comfort. The metallic skirt adds some glamour, but then the oversized sweater tones the look down and makes it a little more casual (and hides all those desserts I had over the holidays.) = ) To add a fun vibe to the outfit, I added in a leopard print clutch, and I had to add some gorgeous metallic pumps. These Guess pumps are from Off Broadway Shoes, and they are exactly what my closet was missing. I had a few pairs of metallic sandals, but no pumps that I could wear to help elongate the leg and dress up my look (without freezing my toes off.) I think they make the whole outfit look classy but still fun for a New Year’s Eve night out. If you haven’t heard of Off Broadway Shoes yet, you will definitely want to check them out! They have some great brands – all at great prices. Some of my favorites are definitely these and these. Which pair is your favorite? What are your plans for New Year’s Eve?

Next Tuesday’s theme is scarves. With the huge blanket scarf trend, I can’t wait to see your favorites! I even received one of the neatest Christmas gifts – a scarf made into a wreath. That goes to show how versatile they really are!
All bloggers will be able to submit their post links via the inlinkz widget below every Tuesday at 7:00am CST with their take on our trend of the week. The linkup runs for 1 week. This allows bloggers to show off their personal style, find new followers and meet some great fashionistas! You will also have the chance to be featured on our blogs the following Tuesday! So grab the button (on my Trend Spin Linkup page) and link up. For all bloggers we simply ask that you please follow your two hosts and the cohost of the week – myself, The Fashion Canvas and Prosecco & Plaid (the first 3 links in the linkup) and provide a link to the Trend Spin Linkup in your post or add the button here to your blog. Don’t forget to stop by the The Fashion Canvas and Prosecco & Plaid to see how they wore the trend today. See you next week in your favorite scarf!
