Boots, Jeans & Tees

We finally had a break in rain to get our family pictures taken a few weeks ago, and I cannot wait to share them all with you soon! While we were taking pictures to use for our Christmas cards, we thought it would be perfect to get some casual pictures of us together too. We wanted something that really fit us as a family. Let’s be realistic; we are parents now. Some days we are wearing t-shirts, jeans and comfortable boots (once we get out of our pajamas!) Other days I am dressed up in high heels and dresses for my corporate job. I have 2 jobs (mom and credit manager), and with that, I have many styles. I thought these pictures turned out perfectly, and they definitely fit us. = )

I am wearing the BØRN Amila boot available at Dillard’s, and Shane is wearing the BØRN Hemlock boots, also available at Dillard’s. These boots are so comfortable, and what I like best about them is the quality and the details. It is obvious they are made of quality leather, and a lot of detail went into each stitch and button. Some boots are more for looks, but these were made for not only looks but also for comfort. I wore them all day while we walked around and took pictures for 4 hours (life with a toddler.) = ) I honestly forgot I was wearing boots. This is my adult version of pajamas. The other great thing about these boots is that they can also easily be dressed up. BØRN has plenty of more casual boots and dressier boots, so they have you covered not only from 8:00 to 5:00, but also beyond that. And guess what, even Shane gave them his stamp is approval, and as picky as I am, he is even MORE picky. Anyone who knows him will know this. He loved the way the looked, and he said they were surprisingly the most comfortable boots he has worn. And he is one of those guys I cannot ever get out of his cowboy boots, so I was happy to finally get him in a pair that was much dressier and nicer (I’m sure some of you wives can relate.) = )

We are in the South after all. What family pictures would be complete without boots, jeans and a t-shirt repping Tennessee?! Have you tried BØRN boots yet?
