Relaxing on Labor Day

Happy Labor Day!  We just got back from the lake yesterday.  We spent the weekend skiing, tubing and swimming.  We had a great time, but we glad to be back home with Shane and do a little relaxing today.  Today is the perfect day to relax out on our patio that we’ve been working on. 

We have such a long, awkward patio that we have had a hard time decorating it.  We finally decided to break up the long patio by making 2 distinct seating areas – the first area with a chaise and ottoman and the second area with 2 chairs and a table.  We were able to still pull together the 2 areas by adding a large outdoor rug from DFOhome.  And I added some fun pops of color with these pretty pillows that I bought.  It’s still a work in progress, but I feel like it’s finally coming along.  It’s the perfect spot to sit and relax and drink some strawberry water with Leighton during the day and relax and watch movies with Shane at night.  How did you spend your Labor Day?
