Looped Cardigan

On Leighton:  Dress // Vest c/o // Shoes // Bow c/o

Last weekend, my mom, sister, Leighton and I had a fun little weekend trip to Nashville.  Shane was out of town, so it was the perfect time to have a girls’ trip.  We stayed at Gaylord Opryland the first night and had the best trip!  Though it feels like winter here this week, last week it still felt like fall with cool temps, fuller trees and colorful leaves everywhere you turned.  This week the trees are bare and it is in the 20’s.

Leighton has had this adorable little lopped vest in her closet for a month or two now, and I’ve been waiting for the perfect opportunity for her to wear it.  Since it wasn’t too chilly, we paired it with this adorable little tunic dress from Crew & Lu.  I am obsessed with all their clothes.  She can wear it as a dress this year and then a tunic next year, even better!  When I spotted this cozy looped cardigan from Nordstrom, it reminded me so much of Leighton’s vest.  You know it didn’t take me but a second to decide to buy it.  I’ve mentioned it before, but I’ve been obsessed with grays this season.  I topped my outfit with this beautiful Lauren Milmine necklace.  These were the perfect outfits to wear to play in the leaves before we headed off for some shopping and dinner.  Who else has been loving grays this season?  Are you a fan of cardigans too?
