Y’all know I am a sucker for both fall colors and a good smocked dress, and this dress in orange just screams fall to me! It’s also a perfect transitional look while it’s still warm on into fall and cooler weather. I wore it recently to take Grayson to our favorite pumpkin patch, Priddy Farms, and it was perfect to chase him around in. I wore sandals but packed a pair of sneakers too, and thank goodness I did. The ground was pretty wet from some recent rains, and I stepped in a huge hole of mud lol. Mom life!
Grayson had a blast at the pumpkin patch and picked out way too many pumpkins! He even got into the fall and halloween spirit by wearing his adorable little KJP candy corn sweatshirt Matt and I picked up for him in Newport. We have been ready for fall and celebrating Halloween since August, so we are ready for it to get here!
It’s not often that I wear orange, but in a pretty, classic dress style like this, it fits me perfectly. My favorite colors to wear in fall are probably greens and blues, but it’s fun to mix it up and try some other pretty fall colors too! Throw on a hat, a belt bag and some booties to wear it on cooler days. What are your favorite colors to wear in the fall?
