Last month I took a work trip to Gulf Shores, Alabama, and it was absolute paradise!

We grew up going to Gulf Shores and used to go most every year. I hadn’t been in 7 years now, and I was so excited to be back in the area and see what it was like. We stayed at this incredible condo, and it was absolutely amazing! It was 5 bedroom/5 bath that is on the water with incredible ocean views. It would be perfect for a girls’ trip, a couples’ trip, a family trip or even a work trip. There is plenty of room for everyone! We took a work trip this time with Mary Kate and Jeanne Claire, but I cannot wait to take the kids next time too!
When you first walk into the condo, the entire living room, dining room, kitchen and bar are all open to each other. They are very spacious, and it would be perfect for the entire family! On both sides of those rooms are large bedrooms with their own bathrooms. The primary is on one side, and another large room with a huge ensuite bathroom is on the other side. The balcony spans the entire length of the 2 bedrooms, the dining room and the living room. There is plenty of seating out on the balcony too from a table and chairs to a couch. Seriously, everywhere we looked, there was more room!
Usually when searching for places to take the family, I have a hard time finding somewhere large enough, but not this time. There was MORE than enough room for everyone, and I cannot wait to bring all the kids back! All the bedrooms had the most comfortable mattresses and bedding. And I loved that everything you needed was inside the house. They even had books all throughout the house in case you needed some good ones to read at the pool or beach. Every little detail was thought of.
On the other side of the condo, there are 4 more rooms with bathrooms attached to each of them. And one of the rooms was a bunk room with 4 bunk beds. How perfect for the girls! I love that they all have their own bathrooms too. There is even a laundry room with top notch appliances. They didn’t skimp on anything in this incredible condo. It has all the space and modern luxuries that you want on a vacation.
Why We Love Gulf Shores, Alabama
One of our favorite places to hang out when we weren’t enjoying the condo was to hang out at the Clubhouse Pool. There is an extra fee to have Clubhouse access, but it is 100% worth it! Inside the club house is a spa and gym and then outside is a pool and hot tub. We loved coming to relax by the pool each day. We also visited the gym while here, and it was super nice. It was really clean, nice sized gym with all the best equipment from free weights to treadmills to machines. There are 4 different condo buildings, and they each have their own pools and hot tubs too, but it was so nice to have access to this one because there is a pool bar and restaurant there. We loved getting food and drinks there while laying by the pool.
Inside the Clubhouse is also Coast Restaurant, and we ate there 2 different nights. The food was that incredible! I had scallops, mushrooms and vegetables. I also couldn’t resist but order brussel sprouts both nights. Truly, I think they might actually be the best I’ve ever had. We all raved about them each night! They had a full bar and both indoor and outdoor seating with beautiful ocean views. It was the perfect spot to sit outside while grabbing a drink and watching the sun set.
We had the best view of the beach right from our condo balcony. There were miles and miles of private beaches right out back. From the pools, you could walk over to the beaches and water. It was great, super clean, and it wasn’t crowded. The beaches were so white and the water so clear. This is why I love Gulf Shores so much! You can’t find beaches quite like this anywhere!
On property, there are so many more amenities too. There are volleyball courts, another sand volleyball court and a large outdoor chess set. That is on top of the beaches, all the pools and hot tubs, the spa, the gym and the multiple restaurants. Everything you need is right here! I love how convenient that is, especially when traveling with kids. I love going somewhere where I never even have to leave the property. It really lets us maximize our time while on vacation.
Our entire experience at this condo was just amazing. We truly couldn’t believe the size and quality of the condo. It was completely updated and stocked with everything you need. Every single detail was thought of. It definitely was such a luxurious stay that I 100% recommend. Gulf Shores also has so much to offer too – great restaurants, bars, hangout spots for the kids, coffee shops, rack tracks, sailing and a beautiful golf course. Fort Morgan is just right down the road and is another super close spot to visit. Depending on whether you’re traveling with kids, women, the guys or your spouse for a romantic trip, there is something to offer for everyone!
