I’m so excited to finally have our eat-in kitchen finished, and I’m even more excited to share it with y’all today! This space has been our list for years to update. From the beginning I envisioned it as a nice spot for us all to sit down at eat, but I also wanted it to be our main space to eat when hosting people too. I wanted it to be a good mixture of casual but still elegant. I was using my square table from my previous home. And though I loved the table, I just don’t think it was the best fit for this space. The table was was so large that it stuck out into the traffic space where you would walk into the pantry. And it wasted so much of the built-in banquette seating. Since we had a square table, I had a square rug too. I just feel like the rectangular dining table and rug look SO much better here in this space. And it still seats 8 people.
The Before Picture
Above is the before picture so you can get a better idea of what it did look like. We were using old pillows that I just kind of threw together to have something to go in this space. For the new design, Havenly helped me picked out the perfect pillows for the new space. And they also found this gorgeous dining table that was really the starting point of the design. I used the same chairs I already had. And I found the new pretty rug at Havenly too while searching through all their endless options.
I love the selection that Havenly has, and I love how great their designers are and how fast their customer service is.
