10 Indoor Places in Memphis for Kids to Beat the Summer Heat

How about that heat and humidity y’all?! It has been rough, but I’ve got some ideas today to help cool you and the kids off this summer! Don’t get me wrong, we LOVE being outdoors! But somedays, we just need a break to cool down, especially when the heat index is so high! I’m sharing 10 of my favorite indoor places in Memphis to take the kids this summer below.

1.) Museum of Science & History – They have exhibits and movies here, and the kids always love it here. Right now they have a fun exhibit called MISSION: Astronaut.

2.) Jumpin’ Jellybeans – Always a favorite of my kids, they have so much here to do! They have a 2 story playhouse, ball pit, train tables, air hockey, slides, ride-on toys and more.

3.) 901Bowl – Right here in Collierville, bowling is the perfect indoor thing to do with your kids!

4.) Mid-South Ice House – Go cool down with some indoor ice skating!

5.) The Children’s Museum – What don’t they have?? A fire truck, a police motorcycle, dancing, art and crafts, an airplane and so much more! It’s really good for so many ages!

6.) High Point Climbing – Rock wall climbing is so much fun for all ages!

7.) Jumping World – Dodgeball, a ninja course, basketball, and of course trampolines! This place has everything!

8.) The Little Gym – We had Grayson’s birthday party here last year, and the kids had so much fun! it’s a great place to tumble, do gymnastics and just have fun!

9.) Urban Air – All my kids love the indoor trampoline park!

10.) The Fire Museum – One of Grayson’s favorite places, the Fire Museum, has tons of fire trucks on display. It’s such a fun way to spend the day.
