Y’all know I love coffee, and I’ve been on quite the quest lately to try out several more in the Memphis area to add to my growing list of favorite coffee shops. It wasn’t hard to do though. Memphis has some awesome coffee shops. Barbecue better watch out; I’m thinking we could really contend with other coffee shops in other cities too. = ) Check out my top 10 list of coffee shops to try in the Memphis area and let me know which are your favorites too.
17 Berkshire – They have 2 locations – 1 in Overton Square and 1 in Saddlecreek, and I love visiting the one in Germantown often. They make some of the best lattes. They are 100% worth the wait. They also have a small assortment of macaroons, cookies and cupcakes that my kids adore!
JoJo’s Espresso – Another Memphis favorite located in Germantown, and right now it is totally decked out with Harry Potter vibes. I am popping in this week to check it out (and of course pick up my favorite latte while there.) = )
Congregation Coffee – It’s a great spot to grab a coffee, sit indoors or outdoors and work or gather with friends. They have a large space that is just perfect. And they also have some small pastries and food items from other local Memphis business, including gluten free options too.
Square Beans Coffee – My favorite coffee in Collierville! This cute little coffee shop on the square has been around for over a decade, and it’s easy to see why. It’s the perfect cozy little spot to grab some amazing coffee, a bite to eat and catch up with a friend. Hands down my favorite coffee in my city. It’s so good! And before I was gluten free, I absolutely loved getting their quiche while I was there too.
City & State Coffee – One of my favorites when I’m in Memphis. The lattes are foamy and creamy, and they even have the cutest little gift shop. It’s located on Broad, so it’s the perfect area to grab some coffee and do some exploring, shopping, dining, etc. while in the area.
Comeback Coffee – A super cute coffee shop in downtown Memphis with good coffee and plenty of room inside for working or visiting with friends. And it’s within walking distance to lots of great spots downtown.
Ramblin’ Joe’s – There is a location in Memphis and 1 in the airport too. Not only do they have seriously good coffee, they have such an awesome staff too! I always have the best experience there, and it’s nice to get good coffee, even while at the airport.
The Hub – Mary Kate has been raving about this coffee shop located inside of Mission Church for years. And she is right; it is so good! And the customer service only adds to how amazing the entire experience and coffee is. You will want to add this one to your list!
Cafe127 – This coffee shop is opening in Collierville this month, and I am counting down the days. The owners seem awesome, and it’s such a great shopping center their opening in. Their coffee looks so good and I cannot wait to try it soon and report back!
Crazy Gander – This is the only other spot on this list I haven’t been to yet, but I am crossing it off my list this week. I have been hearing such great things about this place, and I feel like there is no way it can disappoint. It is located in downtown Memphis and looks like a really cool spot!
