Our Classic Christmas Decor

If you know me, you know I decorated back in September, and I’m not mad about it one bit! I absolutely love this time of year, and I love Christmas decor! We traded in our 8 ft. flocked tree for a 9 ft. Royal fir tree this year, and I am so happy with how it looks! I love the taller height and the fuller tree, and I love not vacuuming up flocking everyday! For me, this is exactly what I need!

We kept it pretty simple this year and used most of our same holiday decor as year’s past. But i did trade out the blue and white checked ribbon and ornaments on the tree for more velvet flocked ornaments and blue velvet ribbon bows. I LOVE how they turned out! They are classic with a touch of whimsy, and they tie in with our classic blue and white decor too without being too over the top.

We kept our same little touches in the hallway and cubbies, and I just love the boxwood wreaths so much! Hopefully Dillard’s will restock them soon. Dillard’s and MacKenzie Child’s are always some of my goo-to places for holiday decor! Timeless and classic at Dillard’s and glam and whimsical at MacKenzie Child’s. It’s such a fun combo!

We kept our dining room area the same as last year too, but removed some of the rustic touches we had in years past. My mom folded the napkins into fun little Christmas tree shapes, and they are such a fun touch! I love how every area just flows into the next so well, and it all coordinates with my everyday decor. We only spent maybe $100 this year to mix up the ornaments on the tree, and it was worth it! While I love decorating for Christmas, I like to get timeless pieces without spending a ton of money. All these pieces will last for years! Is your tree up yet?
