Workout Favorites for the New Year

I love new workout clothing all year, but it seems to be extra special with the changing of the seasons…and especially with the coming of the new year! I don’t like to put off starting new fitness routines until the new year, but regardless, it’s a great time to refresh your workout wardrobe. February will be the coldest month, so it’s time to stock up on some layers and some warmer pieces.

Getting new workout pieces is always great motivation to start or continue a great habit. It can be a great reward to help incentivize yourself. And for me last year, it was always great because all my old workout clothing was finally too big! After carrying around too much weight since I stopped breastfeeding and prioritizing my kids instead of my health too, it felt good to finally make a commitment to myself that I could (and would!) keep, get in really good shape and then get some new workout clothing that fit better and looked better. For me, new workout clothing was definitely a great motivator to keep going!

I am sharing some of my favorite pieces for winter. I am loving all the sherpa, quilted layers, super soft pieces and of course…leggings. What are some of your favorite workout pieces? What are your favorite workouts in winter? I love hiking, skiing and walking.
