I am so excited to finally share Leighton’s new bedroom design with y’all! It feels like just yesterday when I upgraded her to a bigger bed, but it was time for an update! She has a large room, but it is awkwardly shaped with only 1 wall that the bed can go on. The other walls are filled with windows or doors. Her previous layoff was never quite right, but with Havenly’s help, I feel like we got it just right this time!
I knew I wanted a trundle bed again, but I wanted to swap out her daybed for this gorgeous velvet bed. One side is trundle and one side is storage drawers. Then I picked out a super soft comforter and used her previous pillows. We added a little nightstand with a modern lamp on it.
She has tons of jewelry, and her jewelry box just isn’t cutting it. All her necklaces keep getting tangled up, and I love this accordian jewelry holder for unique, fun and practical way to organize and store jewelry. Underneath it is a teal bench that coordinates with pillow on her bed.
She has her entire closet filled with books and really needed another surface to store her items like vases and trinkets. I picked out this inexpensive bookcase, and I love how it really ties the room together, and it also utilizes this space that would otherwise be just wasted space. It’s perfect for her to add her favorite things to.
I am obsessed with her new dresser. It is so pretty, and I love the size of it. It’s a lot bigger than her last dresser, and it holds so much. It is such a pretty color, and I love the wood detailing.
Havenly picked out a glass desk that can also double as a vanity, and I found this fun light-up mirror that she is obsessed with! We added a gorgeous dusty rose desk chair that coordinates with her comforter. All the colors are tied together in her pretty painting too.
I love how everything came together so much! The only upgrades that are still on my list is a possible rug and artwork above her bed. But I am loving how far it has come so far! The pieces have such a feminine but glam look to them. And I love the color scheme so much! What is your favorite piece in her new room?
