Last week I planned and hosted a fun little Valentine’s party. It was so much fun to plan (you know I’m a big planner!), but it was even more fun to take part in it the day of. I invited just a handful of close friends and family, and it was such a fun little get together with good food, good drinks and good company. We all dressed up, socialized and took plenty of photos at the photo booth. I gathered together some of my favorite vendors in Memphis for this event, and they exceeded my expectations as usual!
We made Cat’s Pajamas and Bourbon Cider Punch for the drinks. Then we feasted on a huge charcuterie spread. It was just nice to gather together with friends. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve realized if I want to see friends, I have to be the one to plan the events and host the events. I have always been the one to bring people together for community, and I’ve realized this is my super power. So instead of just sitting at home waiting on everyone else, I’ve decided to just make the first move and do it. And it’s been so much fun and so rewarding!
