After our dishwasher flooded last spring and we had to spend Easter and several other months in a rental house, we are SO excited to be having Easter in our house. And y’all, this will be my first year to ever host Easter at my house. I never realized how special this was, but I am truly looking forward to it! I’ve been prepping for months already! I started by pulling out some of my favorite classic pieces like my chargers, white plates, silverware and goblet glasses. From there, I knew it was time to go to Dillard’s and see what gorgeous new Southern Living printed plates they had. They definitely didn’t disappoint!
I immediately fell in love with their English Garden Bunny plates in pink and green, and it’s no wonder. They are timeless, elegant and still have a fun touch of whimsy to them. They are such a classic and will be used for years to come! I added some more whimsical and colorful touches with these colorful bunnies, these fun little carrots, egg holders and eggs. I love how they all came together for such a fun and colorful look. This pretty tablescape makes me so happy!
I accented some of the plates with cabbage plates also. You probably remember them from this tablescape last year. They are such a great classic and some of my favorites. I also added the cutest little bunny napkins. My mom helped me fold them, and then we tied some of my favorite ribbon around them. Check back soon as I’ll be sharing a tutorial on how to fold the bunny napkins! They are such a fun detail.
And for the finishing touch, I enlisted Dainty Florals to make some centerpieces for the table, and she absolutely nailed it. The colors, sizes, and flowers are spot on. So feminine and colorful with a touch of whimsy. These flowers are just stunning! They completely make the tablescape in my opinion.
