Happy Memorial Day! Over year’s past, Memorial Day weekend has really become the official end of school and the official kickoff to summer. And goodness are the kids excited about it! We had rain off and on every day this weekend, but we made the most of it and squeezed in park days, parties with friends, movies dates with cousins, bike riding, 4wheeler riding and dinner with family. We definitely still had fun all weekend long even though we aren’t going to make it to the lake today.
But I also want to take some time today to thank all of those who did serve and sacrifice for us over the years. We remember our heroes today while we make memories with friends and family I hope everyone has a great Memorial Day! Stay dry, stay safe and have some fun on this holiday! = )
