The Statement Boot

The search begins every fall for the perfect statement bootie – not the everyday neutral one, but I’m talking about THAT one pair.  The one that stands out every time you wear it.  The one that everyone notices.  And the one that makes you feel like you can do anything when you wear them.  It kicks your outfit up a notch, and everyone compliments you every time you wear them.  Well these pretty Rockport booties from Zappos are it.  This purple wine color screams fall, and the cage design definitely makes a statement.  They have a low heel too, and are SO comfortable.  I usually couldn’t wear a pair of high heeled booties around for too long without my feet hurting, but these have such a cushioned footbed I feel like I’m walking on air.

And Rockport, they are known for their comfort while still designing some of the most unique and versatile styles.  Rockport likes to call their shoe wearers movers.  Movers know how to dive into the deep end, tackle a mile long to-do list and get things done.  Not sit and watch from the sidelines.  This is me, and I’m sure it’s most of us.  We don’t have time to rock a great pair of shoes that just hurt our feet.  We need something we can stand in and move around in for hours and still look good while doing it.
