It’s summer; it’s hot, and I’m always looking for new ways to add some fun and interest to my summer outfits without adding even more layers on in this heat.  That’s where Kohl’s bralettes come in.  Let me be honest here.  I was so skeptical of lace bralettes.  I’m a 34D so….let’s just say I didn’t think they would work for me. But then I got to thinking.  What is my most supportive bra I own?  It’s my sports bra that I run in.  It’s the most supportive bra I wear.  It’s comfortable and supportive, and it doesn’t have underwire.  So why can’t lace bralettes be like that too? It can!  The trick is finding the right style and fit for you though.  They are thinner than bras (perfect in this summer heat!).  They are lighter, more comfortable and much, much prettier! You also don’t have to worry about the hooks snagging other pieces of clothing in the washer or warping the underwire when you wash them.  These bralettes are so easy!

Kohl’s carries some of the best brands of bralette top from Candie’s to Lily of France to Maidenform.  I love pairing them with a top that has the back cut out or even a top that you wear off the shoulder on one side.  When your lace bralettes are this pretty, you just can’t help but show them off!  I wore this outfit a couple weeks ago for a fun little day of pampering and got so many compliments on the top with the bow back and the adorable little bralette underneath.  I love how these pretty bralettes not only complete any outfit by adding some pretty little detailing, but they completely dress it up too.  From simple cotton styles to lacey strappy styles, Kohl’s has a bralette for everyone.   They’re like casual lingerie that it’s actually appropriate to show off just a little hint of it.  = )  Have you tried a bralette from Kohl’s yet?  How about lace bralettes?     SO gorgeous Laura! I have the opposite problem; I'm itty bitty chested and always worried that a bralette would make my chest disappear! I have found some super comfortable ones but still get a bit self conscious about wearing them haha.
