Yay, it’s time for the Mama Daughter Style Series.  Each month I team up with Lipgloss & Crayons, Chasing Davies and Sandy a la Mode to share some of our favorite shops and mommy/daughter trends.  Today is definitely a favorite of mine with kimonos and booties!  Yes, sometimes I throw that in there just so I can say the word booties.  = )  Today we are all styling kimonos and matching baby bell bottoms from Kapri Couture‘s new fall line.  How adorable are they??  I mean baby bell bottoms, come on!  At first I wasn’t so sure what I thought about baby bell bottom, but oh my goodness, they are even more adorable on!  Baby bells are definitely growing on me and my be my newest obsession on Leighton like rompers were in the summer.
I paired my adorable paisley kimono with my new Cents of Style royal blue booties.  The color matched my kimono perfectly, and I’m always a sucker for blue.  I think the blue suede of the shoes are just perfect for fall, and I can see myself pairing them with so many other outfits.  I hope you like them because you will definitely be seeing them a lot here.  Since I was wearing a pair of booties, I just had to put Leighton in her new Robeez bootsThey have a faux leather ruffle up the side and are so precious.  They’re from Robeez’s mini shoez collection and have a non-skid surface on the bottom which is perfect for Leighton since she is cruising everywhere and taking a few steps here and there.  We are slowly but surely starting to transition from soft soles since she is starting to walk a little.  I think these boots would be so adorable paired with a little dress and tights too.  I hope you love the Mama Daughter Style Series as much as I do.  I look forward to matching with my mini each month, and I hope you can get some great style inspiration from it too.  P.S.  Make sure you check out the ladies below to see how they styled their kimonos, bells and boots too!
