This is such a fun, exciting time in Memphis this month. It’s the holiday season, and The Nutcracker presented by Ballet Memphis is performing right now at The Orpheum. Leighton, Mary Kate and I attended the ballet this past weekend for their matinee, and it was wonderful! It was my favorite performance yet! Whether you’ve seen this classic before or this is your first time, you won’t want to miss it! They have all new costumes, choreography and sets, and it really is unique but still a timeless classic!
If you’re a big fan of nutcrackers or Christmas, you will also want to check out Hyatt Centric on Beale Street. We all stayed last weekend, and their Nutcracker Suite is decked from floor to ceiling with nutcrackers and other festive decor! It was truly magical! I loved it just as much as Leighton did, and it was such a treat to get to experience it together with her!
