Looking for an easy meal you can barbecue quickly and easily and the entire family will love?? Then this is it! And what’s best is the ingredients don’t cost an arm and a leg, and it’s something a little different to mix up your at-home menu. All you need is the meat, veggies and a grill. And if you don’t have a grill, you can easily cook it on the stovetop with some olive oil or avocado oil too. Either way, the flavors are so good, and it’s so easy!
I used turkey smoked sausage this time, but I have used beef smoked sausage and chicken and pork too, and they taste just as good! Use whichever your preference is. Another great thing about this meal is it’s really good for lunch or dinner. You can easy cube up some cheese and serve with cheese and/or crackers too, and it makes a great snack/finger food option. Perfect if you’re having people over for a barbecue too.
Grilled Turkey Smoked Sausage & Vegetables
Ingredients
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 yellow bell pepper
- 1 orange bell pepper
Instructions
- Heat up the grill.
- Wash the 3 bell peppers and onion and then slice them. I do slices, but you can dice them if you prefer.
- Once the grill has warmed up, put the sausages on the grill.
- Put vegetables in a small tin pan on the grill to cook.
- Brown the sausages and vegetables on the grill, periodically flipping. The sausages we use are already cooked, so it's really up to your personal preference how browned you would like them.
- Once they are browned, remove them from the heat and serve on a platter. Enjoy!
