In need of a night out? Whether you’re looking for a girls’ night, a date night or you have friends in town and want to show them the best of Memphis, Tiger & Peacock is it! It is one of our absolute favorite spots. Tiger & Peacock is located inside of the Memphian Hotel in Overton Square. It is in the perfect location that is walking distance to so many great restaurants, a movie theater, a coffee shop, and ice cream shop, boutiques and more. So you can see why we love this spot so much!
It’s such a great place for a date night. Head out for appetizers and drinks after dinner and then stay at the hotel for a fun little staycation. The rooms are spacious, perfectly decorated, and the beds are SO cozy! And up on the top floor is Tiger & Peacock. You will definitely want to make reservations here for your next night out. If you’re looking for a full dinner menu, just grab dinner downstairs at the Complicated Pilgrim and then head upstairs for heavy bites and drinks afterwards. It’s the perfect spot to end the night.
Once you ride the elevator up to Tiger & Peacock, you are welcomed with the coolest vibe and decor. I absolutely love the colorful jewel tones and whimsical vibe. There are several seating areas indoors for a more intimate and cozy feel or even larger areas to suit a larger group. I have yet to order a drink here that isn’t amazing. And they just recently switched up their food menu. Everything was SO good, but our favorite was the short ribs, yum!
Mine and Mary Kate’s favorite spot in Tiger & Peacock is definitely the Champagne Room, and I’m sure you can see why! It’s just so fun with all the pink decor, the fun little swivel chairs, the tiger picture and of course the disco ball. It was the perfect spot for mine and Matt’s cocktail party we threw last weekend. We invited 11 couples and had a small little get together with close friends. It was such a fun way to get together and celebrate the end of summer, eat, drink and catch up with friends.
On cooler nights, their patio is the perfect place to be. They have several couches, chairs and tables outside too so you can grab a drink, sit outside and take in the pretty views and sights at Overton Square. It definitely makes for a fun, relaxing, nice night out with great vibes and views. We ended the night on the patio, went for a walk around Overton Square and then enjoyed just walking downstairs to our room for the night. No driving back home. It is the perfect spot to play and stay – all in one. If you haven’t been to Tiger & Peacock or the Memphian Hotel yet, make sure you check it out.
