Jordan Vineyard & Winery – This is hands down our favorite vineyard in the area so far. I’ve been to it twice, and the wine is wonderful. We especially love their cabernet sauvignon. We love doing their wine pairing with food, and the food is always so good. That mixed with the wonderful customer service and the gorgeous property, it’s easy to see why this vineyard is my favorite.
Rodney Strong – Another favorite of ours, Rodney Strong makes really good wine, but it won’t break your wallet so many wines can. For the price, it is definitely one of the best!
Caymus Vineyards – Another favorite of ours. This wine is definitely pricier, but it is 100% worth it. Their cabernet sauvignon is so smooth and pairs so well with food.
Silver Oak – One of Matt’s favorites, we just had to cross this one off our list this year. We visited their Alexander Valley vineyard, but next time, we want to check out their Napa Valley location too. The wine is good, and the views are so nice outdoors. Wine tasting here with a cab and a charcuterie board is a great way to end your day.
Gary Farrell Vineyards & Winery – Known for its chardonnay, pinot noir, rose and sauvignon blanc, this vineyard has some of the best views looking down into the valley. We always try to add this vineyard to our list each year. The wine is always really good, the service is great, and the views are amazing.
What are some of your favorite vineyards in the Sonoma area we need to add to our list next time?
These are wonderful wineries. There were some years that I would go out to the wine country during the crushing season. What a grand time to go.
There are some wineries you should visit–Sonoma Cutrer is one of them. (I am not associated with them). Another which I enjoyed visiting is Viansa.
I have not been out to the area in a few years.
Thank you for sharing what you enjoyed.
