One of my favorite hotels in OKC is Fordson Hotel. It is so unique from the moment you pull up outside. Years ago it was a Ford Motor Company plant. Then after that it was an art museum hotel, and today it is Fordson Hotel. They blended the rich history with modern decor and luxuries so well. When you step inside, it has the cutest sitting area over by the front desk. It has several others as well. Behind there is a gift shop, the Pool Bar & Bodega and Mary Eddy’s. We ate at Mary Eddy’s for Valentine’s dinner, and it was SO good!

As soon as we took the elevator up to our floor and stepped off, we were greeted with huge, wide hallways and art throughout. It is definitely not your typical hotel. When we got to our room, there is a huge sitting area as soon as you walk in and floor to ceiling windows on two of the walls. There are 2 tvs, a spa like bathroom with a tub in the shower, a super comfy king sized bed and a coffee maker and mini fridge. Seriously, I cannot reiterate enough how spacious the bedroom and sitting area. This room is huge! We will have to bring the kids here next time; they would love it too!

On the bottom level of the hotel, there is art throughout. After dinner, Matt and I loved walking around and looking at the paintings and artwork. Every corner of this hotel is so special and have such a neat story to tell. If you are in the Oklahoma City area anytime, I 100% recommend staying here. We have a few favorite hotels in the area, but this one definitely ranks up there because it is just so chic, unique and filled with history. Have you been to Fordson Hotel before?
