I literally just finished decorating Leighton’s room last night with the help of my mom and dad.  Thank goodness for them or I don’t know how I would have gotten everything put together and hung on my own.  I am usually the one who has everything done months ahead of time, but everyone kept telling me to stop buying stuff and wait on my showers, so I finally listened, and I’ve got to say, it was stressful lol!  I was so worried we wouldn’t have everything finished in time or that we wouldn’t have everything we needed, but it all worked out.  We were so blessed to have so many great friends, family members and work colleagues throw us showers, and I feel like her room is finally ready.  I am so excited to share it with you today, and I hope you like it.  I wanted to do something a little different.  I love color, and I wanted to use turquoise (my favorite color) as the main color in her room, and then mix in other bright colors and some neutrals.  I think I still might tweak it a little here and there because you can never have too much color.  I didn’t want it to look like a traditional nursery so I tried to pick out pieces that she could use for years to come.  I think my favorite part of the room is the rocker, monogrammed throw blanket and pouf.  They are so comfortable, and I find myself just sitting in there and relaxing some nights.  Lola seems to love it in there too.  = )

    Oh my goodness, there is no way I can pick out one favorite. Everything is just adorable!!! And I love love LOVE Leightons nursery. So pretty and precious. Oh since I can't pick out one favorite I'm just saying the Paris Love Print.
