Day to Night Series – Skinny Jeans

Thanks for stopping by for the Day to Night Series! Every two weeks I will pick a different item to style with a different blogger. One person will style it more casually for day, and the other will dress it up for night. This week the item is a pair of dark skinny jeans!  Bri from Back to Bliss wore her skinnies more casually for day by pairing them with a cozy sweater, a beautiful bright scarf and a pair of boots.  This outfit would have been perfect for the cooler fall wether this weekend.   Make sure you stop by Bri’s blog to see her outfit details!
I wore my dark skinnies dressier for night with a black leather jacket, pumps, my leopard clutch and a silk sleeved sweater.  Besides casual Friday, it has been quite a while since I’ve worn jeans this year.  It needs to be at least below 60 degrees before I swap in my shorts and skirts for jeans.  It finally feels like fall though so I know I will be wearing my jeans and jackets quite a bit now.  Today’s challenge was right up my alley though since I love dressing jeans (or anything!) up.  I actually found these jeans at Marshalls and was so excited when I saw they had my size.  I also love that they’re cropped which is actually the perfect length for a girl who’s 5’2.  What about you; do you like dressing your denim up or down?

    Um, those heels!!! So perfect for dressing up your denim! Denim sure has come a long way…they are the new black pants for sure!! Most versatile thing in our closets!! Your pictures are gorg! Loving this location!!

    I never thought I would be a skinny jean person until I bought my first pair and wore them with my favorite boots, I instantly fell in love with them! Now I have a couple pairs hanging in my closet! I love these outfits, the second look is definitely my favorite. I'm all about a biker jacket and a super cute long sleeved shirt! You look great in both!
