Day to Night Series – Pencil Skirt

Thanks for stopping by for the Day to Night Series! Every two weeks I will pick a different item to style with a different blogger. One person will style it more casually for day, and the other will dress it up for night. This week the item is a faux leather colorblock pencil skirt.  I dressed up my pencil skirt by pairing it with my J.Crew windowpane print blouse, my black lace-up heels and a fun lucite box clutch.  I think my look is dressy, but still playful and fun.  Alice from Happiness at Midlife dressed down her pencil skirt by pairing it with a striped tee, a denim vest and some leopard print shoes.  I am obsessed with her shoes.  Alice is so great at print mixing, and she is also wonderful at stepping outside of the box and trying something fun and new each day.  Make sure you stop by Alice’s blog to see her outfit details.  What do you think about both of the looks?
