Bonus points if you know who sings the song I Feel Home. I’m so excited it’s Wednesday and technically my Thursday! On Saturday we are having a cookout (can you call it that if you’re actually ordering Gus’ Fried Chicken instead of cooking??) for Shane’s birthday. He will be 31 which isn’t good because I follow shortly behind! I’m taking off to try to finish hanging up the rest of my framed photography at the house, cleaning, getting groceries and picking up the cake – all that usual party planning stuff. It’ll be a fun weekend, and guess who already did all her homework for the week? I hope you guessed correctly. So…needless to say, this is a great week! 4.5 more weeks of school, beautiful 75 degree weather each day…I couldn’t ask for more!
In fashion news, Ryan, the owner of The Home T sent me this awesome Tennessee tee. Not only is it amazingly soft (yes, I even slept in it last night), it is made in the USA and a portion of the profits from the sale of their tees goes to multiple sclerosis research. I do not personally have any friends or family members with MS, but Shane and I have done the MS 150 bike ride for the last couple years, so it became a cause that is close to heart and is important to us. The Home T has every state so you can easily find yours. For sizing, I ordered a medium and love the looser fit. One of my favorite things to pair with a tee is always a girly skirt. I’ve been on a red kick this spring, so I picked out this gorgeous midi skirt from The Modest Lady in red, and I absolutely love it! It is girly but Am I the only one who loves to pair super casual pieces with super dressy pieces?
I want to introduce you to Noelle who blogs at Sunshine & Pearls. Life is crazy, so she blogs! When she’s not busy spending her time chasing two-year olds, she is shopping for healthy food, playing kickball with her crazy but amazing friends or cuddling up with her boyfriend watching trashy tv (guilty pleasure.) = ) Do-it-yourself projects are her therapy of choice, decorating is her hobby, and writing is her passion. Make sure you stop by to check out Noelle’s blog and all of her adventures!
Its always so great to stop by at your blog because you always manage to impress me with your styles. You look so stylish and chic!

Love how you knotted the tee over that adorable skirt 🙂
that skirt is to.die.for. and i need it in my life. love how you paired it with the tee, and the bright neon of the bag.
Love this outfit! The skirt is great, and I love that these adorable state tees are for a good cause. I worked with a few MS patients during my clinicals in physical rehabilitation, and it's a tough illness to live with. I love supporting a great cause!
