Just because it’s spring doesn’t mean you can’t (and shouldn’t) layer your outfits. One of the best ways to quickly look put together, professional or even slimmer is to add layers. I know that sounds backwards, but I promise it really works. The trick is adding layers the correct way. Add a structured blazer and skinny belt to define your waist and even make your legs look longer. Add a kimono to add more visual interest to your look. It can add a fun and playful touch to your outfit. Add a denim jacket over a pair of capris or a maxi dress to complete your outfit and make it look like you spent much more time and effort getting ready than you did when you woke up late and had to rush out the door. I’ve rounded up some of my favorite jackets, blazers, kimonos and cardigans for you today. Each one will add a different vibe to your outfit, and I’m sure you will get plenty of use out of them. Most of them can even be worn year-round, so stock up. Do you like to layer?

I love layering, especially when the seasons are transitioning! The Clare cardigan at J.Crew Factory is on sale for $20, and it comes in a billion different colors. obviously, I bought two.
