Thanks for stopping by the Day to Night Series ladies! Every two weeks a blogger and myself will each style a similar item – one for day and one for night. Today’s item is over-the-knee boots. Erin from Style Spies styled it dressier for night, while I styled mine more casually for day. I just recently got my first pair of over-the-knee boots, and I absolutely love them. They are much more versatile than I thought. I was scared I would think they were too daring looking or even too sexy looking (now I sound like a boring prude, oh well!), but they definitely aren’t. They can easily be dressed up or down, and I think it is all in what you pair them with. Erin from Style Spies paired hers with a gorgeous asymmetrical hem dress and a leather jacket. I think she looks amazing. I love the sweet and tough vibe mixed together with the floral and leather, and then the boots balance it out just perfectly. Make sure you check out Erin’s blog to see her outfit details. I dressed my boots down by pairing them with some skinnies, a striped top, a poncho and my Kismet Love Collection buffalo plaid nursing scarf (that doubles as a nursing cover!) I love the mixture of the stripes with the buffalo plaid, and I also love how convenient the Kismet Love Collection scarf is when out in public. I wore this outfit last weekend while out and about with Leighton and my mom, and it is the perfect casual winter outfit. What do you think about over-the-knee boots? What is your favorite way to wear them – for day or night?
OMG, I love the idea of the scarf as a nursing cover. I could have totally used that 2 and 4 years ago. 🙂

Thought I don't own a pair (mostly because they would accentuate the biggest part of my leg– no thanks) I love how you wore them for day time. Very practical and comfortable looking. I love Erins look with the asymmetrical hem too. Gives a lot of interest to what could otherwise be considered a closet staple.
Love everything about the first outfit. I made a breastfeeding poncho for my kiddo and it's the best thing ever. And my favorite thing is when their little feet stick out… Nothing cuter than little baby feet.

I got a pair of OTK boots a couple months ago and I LOVE them! Like you, I was a little nervous about them being to sexy (aka. hooker-ish) but they're not! They're so versatile and I LOVE them!
