Winter Florals

Happy February!  Floral is one of those prints that I tend to not wear much in the winter, but I am officially over winter.  I’m bringing out the floral today in hopes that it will speed up spring (along with a little help from Mr. Groundhog.)  Granted, I did have to pair it with a faux fur vest because it was so windy and cool that day, but at least it brightens up my day (and wardrobe!) just a little more.  I absolutely love winter prints like plaid and houndstooth, but a good floral can easily be worn year-round.  I paired my floral blouse with my brand new pumps from Off Broadways Shoes.  These shoes are absolutely even more amazing in person than when I saw them online.  I loved the gorgeous blue color in the pretty suede fabric, and I think the colorblocking makes them even more unique.  I think they look great with an outfit like this, and they would look equally as great paired with something dressier for work, church, a wedding or even a night out.  I’m always looking for shoes that can be worn most anywhere and look classy but are still visually interesting to add a little punch to my wardrobe.  And you can never go wrong with a pair of blue suede shoes…especially in Memphis.  = )
