I’m sure you’ve noticed, but I’m kind of addicted to warm layers – capes, ponchos and vests, so today Leighton and I wore both. It has been chilly lately, and this Evy’s Tree cape has been on repeat. I’m in Dallas right now, and it was the perfect piece to travel in too. It is soft, thick and warm like a sweatshirt, has a hood, pockets and zips up. It was the perfect layering piece to throw on and keep me warm while I was walking around, but then I could easily take it off when I was on the plane (and there was no airflow!) I almost forgot to mention my favorite thing about it (besides the pockets!), this adorable mustard yellow zipper. You’ll definitely be seeing this baby a lot (don’t judge me.) = )
Leighton is wearing the cutest little bow dress from Schoola. Schoola is a site that carries gently used clothing, and the best part is that proceeds from sales go to fund programs at different schools. There is nothing better than shopping for a good cause. As quickly as Leighton outgrows and her clothes and gets them filthy at daycare, Schoola is the perfect site for us to get some cute play clothes and even dressier pieces like this pretty dress. And this dress perfectly matches the mustard yellow colored zipper on my cape – how perfect is that?!
