How often do we go out to dinner and spend more time on the phone that we did talking to the people with us (sorry mom!)? When’s the last time you talked to your friend (and texting and Facebook doesn’t count)? Sometimes I want to unplug and connect with friends and family the good old way – through cards. Remember good old fashioned snail mail? I remember when I was younger I had a few pen pals from overseas, and I absolutely LOVED getting letters and cards from them in the mail. I would find myself rushing home from school to see if I had a new letter yet. Sincerely Box does just that.

I'm such a stationary fan – I love sending snail mail! Although I think my favorite way to disconnect is through a good book or an interesting craft project. If I'm trying to disconnect and connect, my favorite thing is to go to the beach or play somewhere in the sun where phone screens are essentially useless!
