I love heels just as much as the next woman, but I have got to have my flats too.  My love for them has only grown over the last few years.  These adorable lime green flats from Ann Blanche are not only practical, but they’re also super cute and comfy.  They have silver captoes to add some fun to them.  Perfect for those days you know you’ll be running around chasing your toddler (errryydayyyy, am I right?!)  Just throw them in your purse or diaper bag.  To dress up my casual look just I bit, I paired my flats with a lace sleeve tee, a tassel bag (a more inexpensive option!) and some pretty red lipgloss from Ulta.  Believe it or not, I’ve actually never been to big on wearing much makeup, but now with the kiddo, it is an instant self esteem booster!  Just put on some new mascara, curl you lashes and finish with a red lip.  Boom, it instantly takes your sweatpants look to another level.  = )

Over the last few months, Leighton has seriously fallen in love with all kinds of dolls and stuffed animals.  When we get her out of her crib each morning, she insists on grabbing all 158 stuffed dolls and taking them with her.  She will hug and kiss on them like they are her own little babies.  It just melts my heart!  Since I have an obsession with mermaids (Little Mermaid is still the greatest movie ever), I picked out this adorable mermaid doll from Cuddle + Kind.  Cuddle & Kind makes

hand-knit dolls that actually help feed children.  One doll feeds 10 children.  So every time you purchase a doll, you know you are not only making 1 child happy, you’re making 11 happy and doing something good.  In addition to my own purse that Leighton seems to think is hers, she wore one of my favorite dresses from June & January.  It is SO comfy.  I wish they made adult clothes seriously.  She paired the dress with our favorite sneakers from Wren’s Nest and an adorable flower clip from Ulta.  Leighton wears these shoes almost every single day.  They slip on so easily and are so comfy!  We love them and already want to order a bigger size for when she outgrows them!
