Happy March 1!  I love this time of year!  Spring is just around the corner, and the temperatures are starting to warm up a bit.  That also means bikini season is right around the corner, eek!  I have been enjoying oversized sweaters and jeans for too long!  So it’s time to amp up my workouts and my healthy eating quite a bit.  I’m so excited to be teaming up with my friends My Life Well Loved and Happily Hughes to start a 2 week paleo diet challenge, and it starts today!  For the next couple weeks, I’ll be bringing you fitness posts each Wednesday and Thursday including how to workout at home, my favorite paleo diet recipes, my favorite workout gear and even how to include your toddler in workouts.
A couple of my favorite paleo/primal articles are here and here, and this is a great beginner post that explains what paleo/primal eating is.  They also have a great grocery shopping list and a food pyramid that I carry around in my wallet for ideas and help.  For the next 2 weeks the goal is to eat paleo and workout  3-5 times per week.  I am a key believer in setting goals that are actually realistic.  If they’re not realistic, then there is no point, and I feel like they actually do more harm than good.  So if I only work out 3 times each week, then great!  If I workout 5 times each week, then even better!

  1. I heard about other people having success with Paleo diet, and it's getting me curious. I think I should also give it a try, but first I need to convince hubby to join me haha.. It feels good when we have the same diet, more motivating it is.
    Btw, I hope to see more of your Paleo diet updates, I'll be watching your progress. I hope you'll enjoy it even more.

  2. I really like the ybras on yummie. The wire free are my favorite and look so comfy.
    I also am in love with the hillary strappy tank. I love the floral pattern.
    They have alot to go for on their site. Even the jeans are cute

  3. I love that you are being realistic. I'm not really familiar with the Paleo diet so I will check out the posts you linked. I love how you styled your workout clothes. One item I would love to get from Yummie is the Sweatpant w/Slash Pockets. They look so comfortable.

  4. Those leggings and tee are amazing. I always find that my workout clothes help me get motivated. I love Paleo and cannot wait to read about your progress after 2 weeks.

  5. You look absolutely fabulous in those leggings! I have been trying to eat healthier and move more. My biggest trick has been making small changes every week and build upon the change from the week before. It has really helped me to stick with these new changes to my life. I hope that your 2 week challenge goes well!!
