We are nearing the end of our 30 day ab challenge, and I’m definitely seeing some changes. What has made the biggest impact is really reevaluating my eating and workout plan and making tweaks that make sense for my lifestyle. Like I mentioned last Friday, it’s all about balance and little changes here and there. But you have to do what works for you. Working out is great, but it’s definitely only half the battle to get my bikini body ready. For the best results and to really be healthy, you have to eat a good, healthy diet. Whether you want to or need to lose weight or not, eating healthy and staying active is important for our health.
So what am I doing? I’m still eating paleo (the biggest game changer for those who still haven’t tried it) and I’m working out 2 days a week before work and 2 days a work during my lunch break. I used to workout on my lunch break or after work by running or going for a stroller job with Leighton, but we basically have about 5 months straight of rain in winter and spring here in Memphis, so I had to rethink my plan since I wasn’t making it outside to workout most days after work. And then after she goes to bed?? I’ve had a tough time getting motivated to work out at the end of the day. You need to workout when you are most motivated. And that is definitely first thing in the morning or at lunch. After that, my productivity just decreases as I get more tired and busy.
As we’re wrapping up the 30 Day Ab Challenge soon, I would love to hear what everyone would love to see next month. Whole 30, paleo, leg challenge, 1 mile a day run challenge for 30 days?? I want to hear what kind of challenge you think would help you the best to get your bikini body ready. I also have some more 5ks coming up soon. Would anyone be interested in hearing about how to prepare for your first 5k? Let me know in the comments below or on social media. = ) Thanks for stopping by today and sticking with me through all these fitness challenges. They are definitely helping to keep me accountable. Make sure you check out My Life Well Loved, Happily Hughes, Nashville Wifestyles and Still Being Molly to see how the ab challenge is going for them too. Happy Friday friends!

Love this suit! I have been telling myself for the past two weeks that I need to start doing abs again. It only takes a coupe minutes to do so I just need to get my butt in gear and do them.
