STAYCATIONING AT THE PEABODY HOTEL
Happy Friday friends! Remember these pretty pictures from yesterday’s post (and giveaway!)?? Last weekend I had a fun little Galentine’s girls’ night out at the Peabody Hotel in downtown Memphis. I hadn’t stayed at the Peabody since last year, so I was excited to be back. I got to stay in one of their suites that I had never stayed in before. The Peabody Hotel has a formal dining room, a large living room area, 2 bathrooms, a large bedroom and a kitchen. The room was simply amazing!
There is always SO much to do at the Peabody Hotel. They have a deli that has great coffee and such wonderful desserts (I bought 6 chocolate covered strawberries that were amazing!) They have clothing stores, a spa, an indoor pool, a nice fitness center, a lobby bar, Capriccio Grill and their fine dining restaurant, Chez Philippe.
When we got to the Peabody Hotel I had a little pampering session at Feathers Spa and had a chocolate mint manicure. It was amazing, and I’m not going to lie, the chocolate smelled amazing. After the manicure, we stopped by the deli for some desserts and coffee. Then we watched the duck march that happens twice a day everyday. If you haven’t seen it yet, it is a must do at the hotel!
Then my favorite part, dinner. It was my first time at Chez Philippe, and oh my goodness it didn’t disappoint. We had a 4 course meal that started with cauliflower bisque and ended with Japanese Wagyu Ribeye, scallops and crème brulee. Every single course was SO good. The atmosphere was relaxing and nice, and I will definitely be going back soon. It would be perfect for dinner on Valentine’s Day.

The Valentine’s Package includes a sweetheart floral arrangement, a bottle of champagne, 4 tuxedo strawberries, internet access and self-parking in Peabody parking garage. I have never been there. I would be most anxious to check out the ducks but honestly, I am blown away at your pictures of the hotel itself. The lovely photography showcases the fine details of this historic building. It is gorgeous.
