Trend Spin Linkup – Patriotic Apparel

Wow, it’s practically July y’all! I cannot believe it, but I’m excited it’s here! My birthday is this month and so is one of my favorite holidays – Independence Day. We also have a fun little road trip planned with the girls, and we cannot wait!

We are still debating on whether we want to go to our lake house this weekend or stay here, but whatever we do, I’m sure we will spend plenty of time outdoors, in the water and playing with Leighton. I’ve been wearing this pretty (and patriotic) dress and star print denim jacket lately and love it! Seriously, you won’t be seeing the end of them any time soon! I think the jacket is just so fun and unique and not something I would normally reach for, and that’s why I love it.

After all, I started this whole blog just to step out of my comfort zone and chronicle my style, college days, running and eating. Not a lot has changed except I’ve added in A LOT of mama posts to the mix over 6 of the last 8 years. = ) And my running has turned more into walking and jogging for now, but I have no doubt I’ll be back into running soon enough next year!
