My little baby is 1 y’all! I knew it would go by quickly, but goodness! It really does fly by faster with each additional child. Even though the days went slowly, but the months went quickly, I am so happy I got to spend the first year at home with Grayson. We have spent SO much time together, and I will never regret those cuddles for a moment!
Grayson just had his one year checkup last week, and as I guessed, he was exactly 21 lbs. He is in the 30% for height and the 40% for weight. He will be short like his mom and dad! = ) Grayson is still loving solids and milk. He eats 3 meals a day and has milk 3 times a day also. So far I haven’t found a food that he doesn’t like! He even loves beets and brussel sprouts. Just don’t give him baby food. He wants what we eat, and add some spices or seasoning, and he is a happy camper!
So far his sleep and nap schedule are still the same. He still takes 2 naps for 2 hours each. He goes to bed at 7:30pm still and gets up at 8:00am. We will probably start transitioning him to 1 nap after the holidays and the first of the year around 14 months or so and see how he does. So far, he loves both naps though and isn’t ready to drop either one yet.
Over the past month, Grayson has started waving bye bye again (but the correct way with palms out.) It is so cute! He also loves to clap and say mama, bye bye and buff (his buffalo lovey.) He definitely has his B sound down! He has also started standing up by himself for several seconds at a time before he sits down on his bottom again.
He is all over the place and into everything. He loves food, sleeping, people, going places, outside and is just a generally happy baby. He has the cutest little toothy grin with his 4 teeth. = ) His sisters adore him, and we couldn’t imagine our family without him. I can’t wait to be back soon to share all bout his first birthday party! = )
