Shop the Fall Dress Look
I got this pretty fall dress from Dillard’s Wolfchase last month and have been wearing it nonstop! I love the shape, the plaid print, and that it is belted. But even with a tie belt, did you know that you can add your own belt to a dress to really transform the look?
Adding a belt to a dress gives you more shape by creating a waistline and it makes your outfit look even chicer. And with this belt added to the dress, it completely transforms the outfit! It definitely adds character. And when paired with these sneakers, it is the perfect casual look that is anything but boring!
Now, look at that after! It makes such a difference by adding a waist-defining belt that stands out. Right?! Some of my favorites in addition to today’s belt are a nice leather skinny belt or a braided belt. Skinny ones are perfect to dress up a look, and a good thick leather belt or a braided belt can make an outfit look more casual, but give it so much more character!
I can’t wait to try this belt with plenty more dresses this fall and winter. It would look so cute paired with some boots or booties too. What do you think about belting fall dresses? Do you prefer the tie belt that came with my dress or the leather belt I added?
