Who’s hosting Easter at their house this year?? My mom always hosts it, but I couldn’t help but do a little fun decorating my own spring tablescape in preparation for the big day. I scoured some of my favorite local spots in Memphis, Dillard’s Wolfchase, TCB Co. and Millstone Market & Nursery. I found so many pretty, colorful and whimsical pieces that were just perfect for this pretty Easter tablescape!
How to Create a Spring Tablescape
At Dillard’s I found the prettiest bunny plates, gingham scalloped napkins, glass bunny figures, deviled egg platter and cabbage print dinnerware and accessories. They paired perfectly with my favorite Southern Living pieces I already had, like these water hyacinth placemats, these Hollis print plates and these glasses.
Mary Kate had the idea to add in some fresh tulips onto the salad plates, so I used these pretty fresh pink ones I picked up. Then I mixed in some fresh lemons in the bowls and on the table for some color and as a great filler for the table. The hints of yellow in them perfectly ties in with the centerpiece flowers. The pink tulips add the prettiest little detail and pop of color on the plates.
I popped into my favorite local nursery, Millstone Market & Nursery and found these adorable little bunnies! They are filled with moss and ivy and are so fun! They have several different sizes, shapes and even animals. And you can even bend and shape them some. How cute, right?! They made the perfect spring tablescape centerpiece alongside the floral arrangements.
TCB Co. supplied the beautiful 5 flower arrangements. We went with 3 taller ones on both sides of the moss bunnies. We then put 2 shorter but fuller arrangements in white pedestal vases on the sides. They have a hydrangea in each (my favorite!) and other florals in pretty pastel colors. They add the perfect whimsical and colorful touch to the entire spring tablescape.
Will you be doing an Easter tablescape? What is your favorite holiday to decorate for? After decorating this table, I think my new favorite holiday to decorate for is Easter! Let’s get ready for Easter!
