In case you can’t tell, yesterday was my 40th birthday, and it was a pretty big one! So…I’m a little excited. = ) It’s crazy to think about how much came and went in this last decade. 3 kids, Matt, a new house, and a new career. It’s been a busy decade y’all! My 30s were the toughest years and also the best years. And I cannot wait for the next 10 years.

I’ll share more later this week, but we celebrated early with a few close friends at a fun little tea party picnic (y’all know I’m in my picnic era right now!) = ) I wanted a fun, floral statement dress, and this one from Red Dress was definitely the winner. It was definitely the perfect summer birthday dress.

We had a great 40th birthday afternoon at one of my favorite venues, overlooking the pretty gardens. We drank pink tea, ate charcuterie, and had the best relaxing and peaceful afternoon. This past weekend I celebrated with the kids and my family at the park, and it couldn’t have been more perfect! Here’s to another decade of learning more, growing more, loving more, and of course traveling more. = )
