A few weeks ago, we took the short 3 hour drive over to Nasvhille for a quick little getaway at Fairlane Hotel. We drove over for the Chris Stapleton concert and were so excited! This was our second time to see him in concert, and he is just amazing! He puts on a great show with lots of natural talent. I love that he doesn’t have any bells and whistles, just a great voice, and he is truly himself! It always makes for a great show and a special night!
Since we were going to Bridgestone Arena, we stayed downtown at Fairlane Hotel. It was our first time to ever here, and we were very, very impressed. From the moment we walked in, we loved the look of the lobby, Union Teller restaurant, the bar, and they even have a little boutique connected off the lobby. And upstairs, they have a fine dining dinner spot, Ellington’s. We loved the location downtown, and everyone was so helpful and nice at the hotel everywhere we went. It was such a great experience!
We loved the look and size of our room. There was plenty of room, and it had a great view of downtown. The bed was SO comfy and cozy, and we could have stayed in it all morning if we weren’t so tempted to get outside and explore! We grabbed coffee downstairs at Union Teller every morning and even had breakfast and lunch there one day. The cobb salad was wonderful! And you can never go wrong with a classic breakfast.
For dinner, we went upstairs to Ellington. They have indoor and outdoor terrace seating with beautiful views. We started with the peppers and oysters for an appetizer. They were both incredible! We both ordered steaks for dinner and were so impressed with the food. Trust me, this isn’t just a hotel restaurant. It is MUCH better than that! We were so happy we decided to stay in and dine just right where we were.
What I loved about Fairlane so much on top of the prime location is that you don’t even have to leave the hotel. They have great coffee and breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks. But we did explore while in town too, and with such a great location downtown, it was perfect. We went for walks, we rented some Lime scooters and rode around downtown, we tried out some other coffee shops and restaurants and we even did some shopping. It was such a nice, relaxing trip!
We typically have the kids with us when we’re in Nashville, so it was nice to just be us this time. We got to do a little downtown Nashville exploring for the first time in 6 years. It was so much fun. There is always SO much to do here in Nashville, and I love that it’s only 3 hours away. Such a quick, fun trip! Have you been to Nashville? What are your favorite places to visit there?
