Pumpkin Spice Protein Shake Recipe

It’s pumpkin spice season! And just because you might be eating healthier, it doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy some of your favorite fall flavors! I am sharing my pumpkin spice protein shake recipe below. I don’t add any sweeteners at all (even in the protein), but if you’re into things tasting a little sweeter and better (trust me, I get it!), just add your favorite sweetener like monk fruit, stevia or even chocolate or cacao chips. Most protein powder already has a sweetener in it too, so just taste and see what you think. You can easily tweak the recipe! You can also sub any kind of milk you want and add any toppings you would like. Keep reading for the recipe below!

Pumpkin Spice Protein Shake

Course Breakfast, Dessert, Drinks, lunch
Servings 1 person

Ingredients

  • 1 scoop preferred protein (I use Garden of Life stevia free protein)
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree (use more if you really love pumpkin!)
  • 1 cup milk (I use skim, but you can use any kind)
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter or almond butter
  • 4 tbsp PB2 Powder
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • cinnamon to taste
  • nutmeg to taste
  • 6 ice cubs

Instructions

  • In a blender add, add all of the protein powder, pumpkin, milk, peanut butter, PB2, ice cubes and spices. Fill water to desired level and blend until smooth. Feel free to top with more cinnamon or nutmeg. If you're wanting to add more sweetness, you could top with chocolate chips or cacao chips and even whipped cream. Enjoy!
