Back in November, I took a super quick trip to go luxury glamping with the The Glamping Collective just right outside of Asheville, North Carolina. It was only a short 6 hour drive, and it was so much fun. You probably remember that we took a family trip here last summer too. The views here were incredible! Truly dreamy! They have tons of different glamping on site from XL luxe domes to smaller domes to even glass cabins. There really is something for everyone!
We had a 1 bedroom 1 bathroom dome that included just what we needed. There was a modern bathroom and a small kitchenette. When you wake up, you wake up to a gorgeous view of the mountains right in front of your bed. And speaking of the bed, it is SO comfy! There is just 1 living space, but it is plenty of room for 2 people – whether it’s a couple’s trip or a girls’ trip. When we stepped right outside our dome, there was a hot tub and deck that seriously had the best view of the mountains. Just a few steps away from our dome was a community area with a grill, a fire pit and several adirondack chairs and picnic tables. There are also several hiking trails right by our dome also.
1.) It perfectly combines the outdoors with the indoors and you get to see the best views. You feel like you are a part of nature, and it really is a unique experience. It is so peaceful, but with all the modern conveniences that you love while on vacation.
2.) It is so luxurious! Even being in a dome, you won’t even miss a hotel room, I promise! The beds are SO comfy. Seriously, we could have slept in these all day long. They were that comfy. The bathroom is modern too. You will have all the conveniences here that you need! You get all the views with all the conveniences. It’s a win win!
3.) There is so much to do here! Hiking, grilling, cycling, hot tubbing…and that’s just at the dome. The town has so many other great hidden gem activities, shops and dining like Asheville Jeep Tours, The Grateful Table, Papertown Coffee, Southern Porch and Evenstar Massages.
4.) You get to disconnect. This might not seem like a luxury to some, but trust me, it truly is. We aren’t meant to be ON all the time. We are meant to unwind, disconnect, relax and recharge. And being here with The Glamping Collective did just that! This location has honestly been the most relaxing vacations we went on all last year.
5.) Your trip will be one of a kind! Glamping truly offers unique, one-of-a-kind accommodations. They have several different sizes of domes and glass houses, so there is really something for everyone. You will get a unique trip that is truly different, and it can be different every time depending on which accommodation you stay in and who you take with you!
Out of all of the trips we took in 2024, these 2 were my most memorable for sure. I have realized that I enjoy trips the most the combine nature with modern conveniences. I like getting off the beaten path and having a relaxing trip, but I also love being active outdoors and being able to drive about 10 minutes into town to get dressed up and go out to dinner. It truly is the best of both world for me.
If you’re thinking of taking a girls’ trip (or any trip for that matter!) in 2025, I would definitely add The Glamping Collective to the top of your list. You will not regret it one bit! Have you ever been glamping?
